Strategies to move beyond impasse
The most challenging stage of a mediation for many of us mediators is when the process reaches a sticking point, an impasse.

The parties say they’ve gone as far as they are willing to go and there seems to be an unbridgeable gap.

This workshop aims to develop strategies to move beyond deadlock, and find new ways to promote movement and hopefully settlement.

Building on participants’ experience we’ll explore causes of deadlock and techniques to address them, in a format which is interactive, informal and even enjoyable!
